The self is your identity...
More accurately… “Who are you not?”
The self is your identity. More specifically, it is the arrangement of personality combined with the given desires of this incarnation. You are what you want, and how you see those wants affects the materiality of the immediate universe. You are the finite choice and the infinite vision coalescing as individual. Your identity is a picture of the you as seen from within and reflected in the eyes of all else. Who am I? More accurately… “Who are you not?” The self is everything and nothing but focus from a given perspective. See your self and know yourself. Within the range of the infinite, there you sit, perfectly finite and infinitely probable. You see, your identity is not a product of birth, but of choice. You are infinitely variable, but most often holding to certain characteristics or choices that define a set of parameters. These parameters might be hair and skin color, or they might be a sunny disposition and an affinity for clean teeth. And while changing these parameters can have drastic affect on the you as you know your self to be, it is still not beyond your ability to change them, or simply choose again. Permanence is permanently volatile, ever changing and rearranging. You’ve heard the phrase, “the dance of life,” but have you participated?
Of course you have, there isn’t another way. The more accurate question is, “How do you dance?” And… “What costume do you wear?” There isn’t a right answer, but there is an answer. That answer, those answers hold the key, the program that defines your self… your identity.
Now you are wondering what is meant by collaborating with your self, and we wish to say: EVERYTHING. Nothing happens without collaboration. And when you collaborate within the range of your desires, you get real cooperation. The sort of collaboration that speaks to the heart and gives you chills of eureka. First, admit to choosing your self, your identity, the many layers of choice and perception you cling to like handlebars on your first 2-wheel bike, and now you are ready to collaborate with the truth of who you are. Each push of the peddle, each turn of the wheel, affects the destination. And in peddling at all, you begin to create momentum. This momentum is the real excitement. Destinations are all well & good, but intention through momentum is the stuff of life, the germination of realization,... the breath as fuel. Peddling keeps your balance, holds you upright and in motion. To peddle is to say, “I want,” and “I am,” and “I will be.” The act of peddling or choosing and reflecting, is the act of collaborating with your self. There are degrees of presence and degrees of focus, and even degrees of desire through design, but the point is COLLABORATION: honest action determined and instigated by choice. These choices are the backbone of the universe, and in turn, the reflection that shows you who you are. Collaborating with your self is the sweet song of life in the hands of master creators through a vibrant intent to live!

To collaborate is to demand interaction, to facilitate communication, and then respond. But we are talking about our selves, not a partner or colleague. To collaborate with YOUR self requires a little bit of a balancing act. You must separate your super conscious self from the rest of you, the stuff that you are so easily... the every day you. The super self doesn’t wonder, doesn’t fear, and doesn’t waver. It is held stable by its connection to source, its very sourceness. So imagine a large theatre curtain. This curtain stands between the stage, you and your drama, and the backstage area where all the mechanics and lights come from. What if you stopped acting for a minute to peak behind the curtains? Go ahead, peak! Throw the curtains aside and collaborate with the super self behind the scenes. Don’t worry about entertaining, just write the screenplay and let the universe do the acting. When you have a backstage pass, you have access to all the inner workings of your self. And when you collaborate with the super self, the everyday you becomes super too! You begin to make informed choices and design with desires that come from your sourceness. Finally, living becomes a collaborative effort in ease and simple understanding of yourself. You will live in harmony.
